IFWE Project holds a week-long analysis meeting in Addis Ababa.
The Innovative Financing for Wowmen Entrepreneurs in Ethiopia (IFWE) research project, a longtudinal qualitative research that spanned for 18 months holds its analysis meeting at Marriott Hotels, Addis Ababa.
The collaborative research project funded by the #WorldBank and executed by #HawassaUniversity was led by Dr Sophia Friedson-Ridenour and Dr Rachael Susan Pierotti at the World Bank (WB) Gender Innovation Lab (GIL) for Africa, Washington DC., having Dr Melisew Dejene of #HawassaUniversity as a local coordinator. Lauren Parnell Marino and Dr Parijat Chakrabarti served as Associates working respectively on the waves of longitudinal research, and successive pilot studies.
The week-long analysis meeting was led by Dr. Sophia Freidson-Ridenour, a Social Scientist at the WB-GIL for Africa and Lauren Parnell Marino. Hawassa University's research team led by Dr Melisew Dejene, all the three RAs involved in field research and the project technical assistant attended the meeting.
The IFWE's longtudinal qualitative research project was organized in 8 waves and 3 pilot studies that focused on women entrepreneurs in Addis Ababa and Hawassa cities.
