Hawassa University and Hamad Bin Khalifa University signed Memorandum of Understanding.
Hawassa University (HU) and Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), Qatar signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the areas of staff and student exchange, joint supervision of post graduate students and research projects.
HU’s president Dr. Ayano Beraso penned down the agreement that was signed by Dr. Leslie A. Pal on the side of HBKU in the presence of Dr. Logan Cochrane (representing HBKU) and Professor Tesfaye Semela Director of the Institute of Policy & Development Research (IPDR).
Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), a university wholly owned by Qatar Foundation for Science, Education, and Community Development at Al Luqta St, Education City, Doha, Qatar. Whereas Hawassa University, one of the top ranking public research universities in Ethiopia committed in delivering quality education, conducting problem solving researches and giving community services in different fields and programs.
Both universities agreed to promote international cooperation on a basis of friendship, equality and mutual assistance.
