College of Business and Economics Hosts Internal Curriculum Review Workshop to Launch PhD and MBA programs.

Dr. Wogene Markos, Dean, College of Business and Economics, mentioned that the Ministry of Education (MOE) is urging the higher education institutions of the country to put their maximum effort into expanding such advanced level education and research-based training programs. According to his speech, the curriculum review team conducted preliminary assessments on the demand and infrastructures fulfillment to launch two PhD and one MBA program. 

While in the program presentations, Prof. Raman Kumar, an expatriate academic staff, presented the blueprint of a PhD in Accounting and Finance, Dr. Seyoum Yunkura presented on the PhD in Developmental Economics, and Dr.Tamirat Ludego presented an MBA in Finance and Taxation Consiquaetivly.        

Finally, constructive comments were forwarded from the participants to the curriculum committee during a discussion session, and it could be noticed the remarkable points for the rearrangement of a few aspects in curricula before the external curriculum review workshop.
