Eric Lam, Prof.

Eric Lam is currently a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Plant Biology at Rutgers University, NJ. He had served as the Director for the Biotechnology Center for Agriculture and the Environment at Rutgers from 2008 to 2010. He also serves on the advisory board for the Rutgers Energy Institute. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley with a PhD in Biophysics and completed his postdoctoral research at the Rockefeller University on Plant Molecular Biology.

Karen W.R. Lin, MD

Karen W.R. Lin, M.D., M.S. is an Associate Professor of the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She is the Assistant Dean for Global Health at Rutgers RWJMS, and the board member of Acupuncture Examining Board of New Jersey, the past president of the Board of the American Cancer Society - Middlesex County, New Jersey.

Henrik Pedersen, Prof.

Professor Henrik Pedersen is currently Associate Dean for Academic Programs in the School of Engineering at Rutgers University. He received his BSc from the University of Rochester and his PhD from Yale University, both in Chemical Engineering. He recently served as the education director for the National Science Foundation supported Engineering Research Center on Structured Organic Particulate Systems. That pharmaceutical engineering program successfully developed innovative continuous manufacturing systems for manufacturing solid dosage forms.

Eric Garfunkel, Prof.

Eric Garfunkel is Professor of Chemistry and Physics, and the vice president for international and global affairs at Rutgers. He is responsible for the university’s internationalization efforts, including study abroad and global education, cross-cultural and global programming, development and support of international relations and partnerships, and services for visiting students and scholars. He is also a distinguished professor of chemistry and physics.

Dr. Rebecca Davis

Dr. Rebecca Davis is Associate Professor and Director of Global Social Work at Rutgers School of Social Work. Her research focuses on child protection system strengthening in Sub Saharan Africa with an emphasis on evaluation of workforce capacity in Nigeria, Malawi, Swaziland, and Ghana. She is Chair of the Global Social Service Workforce Alliance.
