The Senate executive committee of Hawassa University, in its meeting held in October 2014, approved the new MSc program in climate change and sustainable agriculture. This two years thesis based program will be hosted by the College of Agriculture. The curriculum of the program was developed with financial support from the CSA project in the Horn of Africa, which will continue to provide scholarship to female candidates and research funding to selected students. The program will accept students as of February 2015.
