Internationalization is as an essential element of quality in
teaching and research and academic mobility is a key element in
internationalization. Through international exchange and international
networks at academic\, cultural\, individual\, and economic level\,
mobility will positively influence individuals\, universities as well as
societies. A high mobility of students\, lecturers\, scientists\, and
university personnel will give new impetuses for studies\, teaching and
research. Especially the exchange of scientific and didactic methods
and new scientific knowledge will enhance academic competences and
qualifications. Universities within the African setting still have
deficits regarding mobility of academic staff as well as mobility of
students.
